First 24-48 Hours

Immediately after your treatment your treatment provider may apply sunscreen and moisturizer.

Leave the PRP on your skin for at least 8 hours.

After 8 hours you may clean your face with gentle cleanser and moisturizer.

It is very important that you do not take anti-inflammatory medications such as Advil, Motrin or Ibuprofen as these agents will interfere with your natural inflammatory process that is essential for your skin rejuvenation.

Use only Tylenol as needed if you have any soreness.

Clean all makeup brushes and pillow cases as well as anything else you use to touch your face.

You may experience some redness and swelling immediately after treatment which should subside within 24-48 hours.

It is important to avoid any strenuous activity or exposure to heat or direct sunlight for the first 24 hours after treatment.

You should also avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours. Gently cleanse the treated area with a mild cleanser and apply a light moisturizer as needed.

2-3 Days After Treatment

You may experience some dryness, flaking, or peeling of the skin in the days following treatment. This is normal and will subside within a week. It is important to avoid picking at or scratching the treated area as this can cause scarring.

You should avoid using any retinol products, glycolic acid, exfoliating agents, or other harsh skincare products for at least a week after treatment. You can resume your normal skincare routine after that.

Makeup can be worn 24 hours after treatment. It is important to cleanse the skin gently and apply a light moisturizer as needed.

4-7 Days After Treatment

7 Days and Beyond

After 7 days you’ll start to notice your skin is more smooth and glowing. Continue to protect your skin with applying spf every day.

A follow up appointment is recommended 4 weeks after treatment and for the best results 3-5 sessions may be needed.
